NanoDropper: Eye Drop Accessory Information
Understand your eye drop accessory before changing how you use your bottle. NanoDropper is a drop-size accessory designed to reduce the size of drops dispensed from compatible eye drop bottles.
The right starting point is your specific medication and bottle. Our team can discuss your questions and help you identify what to review with your prescribing clinician or pharmacist.

Understanding the accessory
A smaller drop—not a new prescription
Drop-size accessories change the opening through which a bottle dispenses liquid. They are intended to produce smaller drops than the bottle’s original tip.
A smaller drop changes the volume delivered. It does not mean you should change the number of drops you use or how often you use them. Your prescribing clinician should guide any changes to how your medication is delivered.
Do not assume that an accessory will improve treatment results, reduce costs, or work with every bottle.
Check your bottle, medication, and care plan
Before attaching an accessory, discuss the exact product with your prescribing clinician or pharmacist. A bottle that appears to fit is not enough to establish that the accessory is suitable for your medication.
Your bottle
Check the bottle’s manufacturer and design against the accessory’s current compatibility instructions.
Your medication
Share the medication name and concentration. Ask whether a change in drop volume is appropriate for that prescription.
Your routine
Review your dosing schedule and any difficulty you have applying drops so you receive guidance specific to your needs.

Keep safe medication use at the center
An accessory does not replace your prescription instructions. Protect your eyes by keeping your routine consistent and your bottle tip clean.
- Follow your prescribed dosing. Do not change the number of drops, skip doses, or adjust timing without your prescribing clinician’s guidance.
- Keep bottles for your use only. Never share eye drops or attached accessories with another person.
- Avoid contact with the tip. Do not let the bottle or accessory tip touch your eye, eyelids, fingers, or other surfaces.
- Read and follow product instructions. Follow the medication and accessory directions for installation, handling, storage, and replacement. Ask your pharmacist if instructions are unclear.
